Need a spa day?

You’re on holiday and you’re unwinding, but sometimes we need a bit of extra help and a soak in a tub is one way to go about it . We have a few places open on the Coast now that you can relax and soak away the day.

Out in Tallebudgera we have Greenhouse the Bathhouse (they also have a great vegan restaurant in Miami). On the menu, they have soak sessions, scrubs, facials and treats to eat while you’re there.

If you head out to Currumbin Valley you can steam and soak underneath the trees at Ground Bathhouse at the Eco Village. They have a wood and infra-red sauna, hot tubs, ice baths and a magnesium plunge pool. Stop by and have lunch before or after at Pasture + Co.

Soak in Mermaid Waters offers a variety of different magnesium pools + tubs, a steam room and massages. Perfect after a morning up the other end of the Coast exploring Pacific Fair, Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise.

Much closer to home, there is a new medispa in town. Specialising in IV infusions, (natural looking) cosmetic injectables plus more. They have a salt therapy Himalayan salt room (which is amazing for respiratory problems) and also take very small sized classes of yoga, pilates, meditation and sound healing. There’s also an infrared sauna too.

All these day spas do require booking in advance, so our advice is to book before you arrive and look forward to that one day (or few hours) of bliss. It’ll be worth it! Also check out their websites as to what you need to take – it’s different for each place. Enjoy!
