Most short-term rentals rely on tiny single-use plastic bottles for toiletries and cleaning products. These may look convenient, but they’re an absolute nightmare for the environment.

So, we’ve ditched them! Instead, we use:

• Bulk eco-friendly cleaning products that cut down on single-use plastic packaging.
•  Reusable glass pump bottles in our kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms—refilled by our housekeeping staff.
• Non-toxic, fragrance-free products that keep your space fresh while being kind to the planet (and your skin).
• We have decided as a team at this stage to not offer shampoo + conditioner as we figure everyone has their preferred choice of hair products.

So, we’ve made the switch to bamboo toilet paper from Eco Cheeks—a sustainably sourced, plastic-free alternative.

Please note though that in order to have properties disinfected effectively between guests, our cleaners may need to use bleach in the bathrooms.

• Finding a better solution for the chux cloths. We are looking at bamboo cloths but checking the accessibility and availability of these.
